Well, this afternoon I went to feed everyone and heard a baby chick!!

Looked in the coop, yep one is hatched, one is pipped and a third is just kinda hangin out for now. I am so excited! I let her set as an experiment, I wasn't sure if she would follow through, or give, up, but she did it!!! Now I just hope that she's a good mama, and keeps those little ones safe!

Is that a buff orp? If so, I'll bet she does a good job. Mine always seem to do well, along with the barred rocks.
