Theresa, I don't know if Erin talked to you yet but she mentioned something about you leaving eggs for her with me? Just thought I'd get that out there in case we need to make that happen. She is coming late and you are leaving early.....let me know! I will be there at 11am and will probably stay till at least 3pm in case anyone else needs to do something similar.

We have a fairly good sized tent/shelter I can bring too (It's a National Guard one...would be an easily recognizable landmark too

Jen- I don't have any other breeds...if you just want to do a trade with the hen that would be just fine.
Could you get me pics of him? What breeder did you get him from?

Zoo, sounds great !!!

I am also getting under that tent too!!

I'd like to come to the chicken swap, but sounds like everyone is bringing fancy shmancy chickens. Are redneck farm chickens able to be included? Most of mine are molting and look awful, but I have a couple I would be willing to swap with someone who also has redneck farm chickens just to change it up. And I've noticed in a couple of posts that some of ya'll are bringing food. Is there a potluck? Or is it to sell? I just hate to read all 57 pages of this to figure it out. I have sheep/goats/ alpacas for sale too and since I live in Curtin, if anyone was interested they could just pop up the road to see them, or I can send a pic ahead of time. Thanks!

Come on over!!! We'd love to have you and your redneck chickens! I personally love those type of chickens because that is what mine are

Mine have been molting and broody all summer so look very rough around the edges, lol. I know my friend's friend is looking for just normal chickens. She isn't into the fancy type or show quality ones, just good layers that are friendly for her backyard flock. Yes, there is a potluck, but it's not required that you participate. I'm bringing cheesecakes, Oregonjen is bringing goat cheese, someone else is bringing desserts and I'm sure that others will be bringing various things as well. We'd love to meet you!

Lol do you like how we just invited ourselves? At least I'll have lots of cheesecake

Jen, join us with your goat cheese!

Hey, thanks for the invite! I'm there. I Don't know how big that tent is but I should probably leave the 100 chickens that I am planning on bringing somewhere else (we are making plans for their rain cover as well), LOL! I am watching accuweather, too early to tell for sure, but it looks light the weather might cooperate with us.

I just made a batch of Feta that seems like it will be awesome, but it needs to age for 5 more days and then we will know for sure.
