It was about Cochins/Pekins versus Orpingtons. Until we were told leghorns are superior to both.

Is there a chicken that's peking also?

You couldn't mean orpingtons are better than ducks, because that would just be so...so, wrong.

Is this about chicken versus chicken breeds, or chicken versus duck breeds?

I think it's duck vs duck. Pekins against Orpingtons.
Orpington ducks rule.

So do orpingtons have something superior about them then?

I only have 1 orpington, and she has really strong instincts and better forage ability than my other ducks. But I don't know if that's just her or if others of that same kind also are like that.

But a negative point she has is that she's way more skiddish and human-evasive than my other ducks.

I was just informed that pekin is a Cochin in the UK. Were comparing Orphingtons to Cochins.(chickens) although Leghorns are better.
