OUCH! That sounds like the exact same thing rooster-red dealt with a week or two ago. He actually went to the ER for his though. Maybe you can PM him and see what he found out about his eye. I hope it gets better for you really soon.

Eisch! I hope you come home with a better feeling eye. Durn chickies are sometimes too curious for stuff to eat.

I nearly lost an eye to one of my brothers swinging a pruning saw at me as a kid. It scratched my cornea and there were no issues. I was lucky. I still remember how much it hurt.
