OK I have been reading this site and what is the difference between UK Orps and ours, just started raising buff orps.

Joy, are you sure today is day 22? Just asking because I remember you telling me you had eggs going into the hatcher on Saturday. I remember this because I also had eggs going into the hatcher on Sat. So that would mean today is day 21. Although, I could be crazy-ya never know...

OMG !!

You are correct Paula.

You do a better job keeping up with me than I do. This is just day 21 because that egg did go into the hatcher on Saturday. Good grief, I have absolutely lost my mind !!

Just kidding. I thought it was Saturday you put them in, but you know I'm kinda crazy myself-and my memory just sucks! If I don't write it down on my calendar, all my chicks would be hatching in the bator. lol

Oh, Sandy, sorry.

You have enough Joy Orps anyway. Quit being greedy!

You can see the difference much better than I could explain. Here are a couple of pics of my English Orps. You can find some pictures of US orps online to compare.

The difference is also very apparent in chicks. Here are two English pullets at about 7 weeks old. (The O's)
