Your birds are absolutely gorgeous. I have some that look similar that I purchased from BamaChicken and hatched from eggs in September so they are about 10 months old and still growing.

It's hard to get a good picture of them because they won't stop moving. I have no idea if mine are also from English stock since I didn't stop long enough to ask. When she listed the auction I jumped on it. They were the birds I had always wanted. I have regular (American?) Blue Orps and they pale by comparison.

You mentioned difficulty in hatching and I have found that some do make it all the way to development and then fail to pip/hatch. I've tried high and low humidity and raising/lowering the temps a bit so I'm not sure what's happening in my case but my Orps and my Polish seem to be having problems hatching in my Sportsman. It could be because it's over 100 degrees outside and 100% humidity so the Sportsman just can't regulate itself.

I'm so glad I found your thread - I just love the pictures. We are in the process of building a bigger pen for our little flock of fluffy butts.

Well, my Clementine chick hatched !!!

I had to help it a bit, but he/she seems to be fine this morning, but I"m still keeping a close eye on it.

I have a Clementine chick due to hatch on Friday and another on Sunday, then 2 more eggs are still in the incubator, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed they all hatch.

I will try to get a couple of pictures today and post later !!
