She was just there for emotional support, so we brought her in because she was waiting for the rooster to join her in their mini coop, she refuses to go in the bigger coop with all the others unless the rooster is with her.Does the hen have frostbite as well, or is she just there for emotional support?
Well, as far as I know, this is the treatment I recommend. His face WILL swell, but it should go down eventually.He's likely going to lose his comb points. He *probably* should have been brought in sooner if you had wanted to save them, but oh well.
Put ointment on the comb, keep him warm, and give him lots of water and food.
