Our Mixed Flock Journey!

I took my flock a warm treat this morning and my goodness did they enjoy! I cooked up some old fashioned oats and added in some cooked pumpkin from my garden! There wasn't even any squabbling, they all just chowed down on it... :love

Great idea! I can see that they loved it. That feels good doesn't it!

Looks great Rene :thumbsup

I like staining wood, it's easier than painting (for me anyway).
Good morning Debby! Thank you! I prefer staining wood also, but what we're doing here is applying what is called a Gel Coat Stain, it's more like paint than stain and the raised panels take a bit of time. Thank fully this is the only cabinet with raised panels that we have to stain. The new cabinets hubs is building will get an actual wiping stain put on them...that's much easier! We put stain on the new face frames last night. He went to town yesterday and bought the plywood that we need for the new cabinets and we cut them up on the table saw yesterday, so he will probably start putting at least the new sink cabinet together today. We need a raised panel for the cabinet he's building that will replace my desk, we will have to order that from the place that did all of our cabinet doors, we think they are still in business! It's slowly moving along! :)

Looking forward to seeing your finished kitchen (I'm sure you are too) :)
