That 30" is slowly melting and is now down to about 24"

Well, losing six inches is better than nothing, I'm just glad the weather is a little more moderate where I live! I hope you don't get the snow they are calling for tonight! Rain would be a good thing, it would get rid of the snow sooner, but then you might have a flood...so a slow melt is probably better!

I only have 5 birds now...the 3 Legbars, 1 Welsummer and 1 white something or other (I never can remember except she's a cross that also lays blue eggs). That's right, somehow I ended up with 4 blue egg layers and 1 speckly brown egg layer.

I'm always gazing longingly at the colorful egg baskets I see around the site. But the city limits me to 6 and my old girls are here for the long haul.

I tried very hard to get eggs colored other than brown or white but my EEs all let me down. So this last time I added I gave up and wound up adding white to all my other beige eggs by adding the polish my wife wanted. I'm at max as well with 6 so my quest for colored eggs is on hold for a long time.
