When I was in high school we had a photography and film development class...sadly I did not have funds to purchase a camera, so I was not able to take the class. I've dabbled for years and would have loved to take a class! I'm studying online and soaking up everything I can! This camera is quite complicated, but I love it already. I actually paid for an online class that completely focuses on this particular camera...it's been very helpful. I need to really learn about composition...so I'm working on that too!

This is all for me...doesn't that sound selfish...lol! This camera is making my brain work and that's a good thing...it's been too sedentary for too many years...! Seriously though, I hope my family will get some enjoyment out of them, but if they don't that's okay!

We had a wonderful time at the Zoo, I'm just a bit disappointed that we decided to go to Point Defiance. It's definitely not how I remembered it. The grounds were lovely, but the animal housing was just kind of sad and there really was not the variety that I was hoping to find. Next time we decide to venture that direction, we will go too Woodland Park Zoo. It's much bigger, I decided not to go there because one of my favorite exhibits was closed. We will wait for it to open before we head that way!

So, I go to the Zoo and take a tremendous amount of pictures and what is my favorite picture....This beautiful girl!!! I kind of think you all will enjoy her too!

I received unimaginable news today...her mom didn't make it! All I can do now is pray for God to bring comfort and touch her heart. I will be here for her whenever she gets home. My heart is just breaking for her whole family!

I am so sorry. For you and for your poor friend. What a terrible blow.
I will say a prayer for you and this family.

I am glad you are getting new pleasure from your new camera and photography. It really does stimulate the brain and give so much enjoyment.

Thank you Michelle! She is so smart! She responds to a clicker. I trained one of my cats with one, crazy how well it works. She followed the clicks across the stage! I was very impressed!

Yes, She sure is! Lovely! I hope she has at least one friend in with her.
