Our Mixed Flock Journey!

Greetings from Florida! I have few minutes before we shut it down for the night and wanted to say hi! Have a great night everyone, I will pop on when I get another chance! :)

Two of my favorite pictures from today! Snowy Egret, we watched him catch 5 dragonflies!!! It was pretty amazing!

Over the weekend, attended an annual family reunion 200 miles away. I camped out. I had the whole main campground all to myself. AKA,, I was the only coyote bait there.

It is a classic wiener roast.

There was plenty of other food :drool:drool:droolinside barn. Everyone brought something to share.. The vertical climbing wall can be seen slightly to right of center. Upper left corner, the overhanging ceiling climbing route can be seen also.

Not all attendees were climbing,, but those that did,,, sure enjoyed it safely.

Looks like a fun time! I miss camping, it's been a long time since we've been.🏕️ We have campfire bans out here, so no wiener roasts for us. It just isn't the same when you can't have a campfire!🔥 Did you climb too?

That campground had to feel very lonely. Looks like a great reunion though. We have never had a large family event like that. I have always been a little envious of families who do.

The formal integration process is about to begin as the Cluckle Hut is complete. I wrapped up the build yesterday. All that is left is to paint it and install the automated door.

The double side doors are fitted together. I installed a second latch inside the bottom door to really secure everything.

In hopes that Phyllis soon would be there.

Phyllis has been forced out of the main coop at night and has been roosting in the run. Last night I simply moved her over to the coop.

I had to let her out this morning as the automated door is not yet installed. Here she is enjoying some alone time in The Hut this morning.

Looks like the new digs are Phyllis approved Bob!

Are you going to put the new kids in with her? How are you going to integrate them?
