They do have big cheeks, the way they are in the box you really cant see it. There bills are short, and their bodys are nice and round, and are wide in the front, when you look at them head to head. If your judging them on the way they look in the box, they look better in their pen. Ill try to get more pictures later.
Also: Does the APA standard of perfection have the standard for calls in it? I have a book at home with the standard in it, but would like the APA book because that also has the standards for chicken breeds in it
Also, the hen is toe punched. That seems like a good way to keep track, but does it hurt the bird, what age do you do it, and do the judges take off it they are toe punched?
