Partridge Rock Thread

He looks about right from what I've seen with mine. The bantam rock is at least 4 times bigger than our OEGB's, probably more like 6.

I'm not sure he's a PR just guessing from what I've seen on this thread. I'm pretty sure the other 4 bantams we have are hens. I been looking for a roo for them all day. LOL would be awesome if he is bantam!!! I surely was confused cause he was out growing the rest so fast. We have a d'uccle , 2 golden seabrights and OEGB. Thanks for the info as I know nothing about the PR these were my wife's project but they are all very cool !!! Redman I must say is my fav he rides on my shoulder walking in the yard.

I( have a partrige rock in the brooder right now. Do you have any idea how often they tend to go broody??

Here is a picture of my bantam at 11 months. They look really close to a RIR in your pick what are some diff I could look for in the coloring. I have Mohawk HRIR 3 week old chicks can't wait for those to bloom so to speak!! The wife and I are thinking along the lines of project breeding with our bantams.

I have 4 hatchery partridges, everyone went broody last year. They were 2 years old then and I only let 1 set. If memory serves me right they started about the end of April.

Quote: They started in the 22 week range. They lay very pretty rock eggs too
