The human lowered itself so that it met Steam's eyes. "If you can understand me, listen closely. I don't want to kill you, but if you're not adopted, I'll have to. The other option is to be given to the pet shop. If you act helpless, you can be given to them."

Nova looked around for Aaralyn. "At least she knew what she was doing." she muttered.

aaralyn jogged up to the younger girl "hey, I've been lookin for ya! We gotta hurry to blend I with the gym class."she said, her cheeks flushed from the run.

Jason ran, on his last lap.
