It's sure a pretty day here for free ranging. Can't let mine out until I can stay out there with them to keep them from harvesting my peas for themselves.

Didn't have phone service this morning.

Only new thing to report right now is the Splash Cockerel is starting to crow.

Have them out Free Ranging again before the rain comes in the afternoon.

When we had our little dog outside to go potty, the Single Comb Malay cockerel came over to check him out. Spot didn't approve, & scared him, then almost got kicked by the cockerel.

It's a personality thing with some. Other's don't need the encouragement, & jump right on the hen.

Goliath's Son Long, is very enthusiastic about breeding. He'd hop on any hen I put in front of him.
