That is wrong on SOOOOOOOOO many levels. :gig

And to answer your question.......... YES, there is a chance of getting a white from these eggs. :p :lau

Princess may have some brothers and sisters that look like her. :gig

Well I hope you do get a white male, lol.

Me 2 !!!! But then again, I wouldn't know if I had a male or not anyway. :lau I will have to post pics so everyone could see to tell ME what I have. You know I have issues. :gig

Here is another "house" chicken and her one pea egg. It was the smallest of all the eggs at 99 grams, so it will be interesting to see if it hatches.

Aww that is cute!

Well when I went to see Ice on her nest yesterday I noticed an egg a few feet away from her so I looked at the egg and it was one that I had marked so she must have been sitting on it and was able to tell it was no good or something because she was not incubating it. When she got up sure enough there were only four eggs under her. Four is good for me though. When the peahens have a lot of peachicks it can be harder for them to look after all of the chicks.

Why do so many pea eggs seem to be quitters? I've got everything set the same as I do for my quail and chicks, which I have good luck with. But have only gotten one out of eight of my pea eggs to hatch. They seem to start developing well then quit anywhere from 1/3 to fully developed that never pip. Sportsman 1502 with temp at 100 humidity pan always full with auto fill bucket, run mid 40s then add wick at lockdown to increase to mid 60s. Lockdown at day 25. Any suggestions?

Good question... Of the 20 that I've set so far, I've lost 2 of 10 in the incubator and none of the 10 that are under hens. The two in the incubator both started, but one died at about day ten and the other died a couple days later.
