Oh, Wow!They will eat bugs, like chickens do. I forgot to mention....they can get really LOUD in the springtime mating season. Otherwise, not too bad. They also make some cool sounds that aren't deafening, they can honk like a goose and make a sound like a kazoo, not sure what that sound means. When I give Peyton his treats, he makes a quiet clucking/tapping sound, but it's really low. Again, I only know my peacock, maybe other males are not as mellow? Maybe mine is weird? He came to our property when he was pretty young, and had an injured leg. We fed him and took care of him while he healed, then he never left.
