Peahen turning into a peacock at 4+ years old! ?

@R2elk , this subject came up in another thread and I was wondering if you could point me to a link that talks about this?
I cannot remember where I got that information from but here seems to be a reputable source.

Yes, she likely has a damaged ovary.

I've posted before about the hormone inbalance that comes from that condition and the resulting phenotypical masculine traits.

I do still have this peahen. She has a completely eyed tail although it is short, and her neck feathers finished turning blue! She is starting to act a bit more like a male.I'll try to get a picture on here!
