For the time being he can stay. When he starts to make too much noise he has to leave.

If he starts to roost , I want to put him in a separate tiny coop, that is rather dark. It has an auto pop door I can set on a timer. So he can get out and crow after 8.30 am.
If it doesn’t work out as I wish, I hope to get a new home for him.

Its called Anymal and is in English available too.

Sulmtaler cockerel Tintin got a nice new home in the North of the Netherlands. The new owners have send me a nice picture.


Not easy to sex these Amrocks at all. It seemed I was wrong after all.

amrocks should be easy to sex. girls are darker than boys.
It didn’t show when the chicks were younger.
Could have guessed by the smaller spot on the pullets heads.

It seems the larger Amrock breed has clearer characteristics. The bantam are often a guess and often not autosexing as young chicks.
