Oh... I don't so statistics or probabilities... my theory on statistics (based on tricks I've seen a supervisor pull numerous times!) is that statistics can be whatever a talented person wants them to be. And my theory on probabilities is that everything is a 50/50 shot... either it will happen or it won't...

won a dozen bantam langshan eggs in the Chinese auction... had to run out and buy a bator ... trying to calibrate thermometers and figure it out... gonna try to set everything early morning cuz I am beyond confused with this thing...-_- not one single diagram or picture...

I have some pekins hatching & a few already hatched if you need some. I try to avoid mallards. You have to keep wings trimmed or they will fly away.

Top looks like a pea comb, bottom looks like a single comb. Indicators of colored eggs are usually pea comb, green legs & puffy cheeks.

Mallards tend to fly away when it comes time to migrate.

The 6 little d'anver eggs are talking to me this morning,,,,,took a quick peek, only see 1 pip and it is in the middle of the egg.
 
I was looking for shirts as posted and I only seen/met Harry Shaffer. We had a nice conversation about Ameraucanas. And about my fighting on BYC about them.
I got my black bantam Cochin pair from Jamie Matts and I bought another 2 girls from the guy set up outside. Jamie was super friendly and he even let me stop him in the middle of judging to ask him why he placed the Ams the way he did. I also shared my own thoughts on the BB Ams' type and I was right. Awesome to meet someone so cool (Jamie and Harry)!

I can't believe I didn't see any of you. I was there from 8-11am. Dewey was being a turd and wanted to get back on the road for the 2.5hr trip back home after I got what I went for. I wanted to see how the bantam Cochins were placed because I want to know if I have the right idea on what the type should be. Oh well. It was longer heading back because I wanted to stop at Bass Pro Shops and we had lunch on the way. I have been having back issues for a couple of weeks and the trip did not help. I finished pinching the nerve walking around the show cages so I was in a lot of pain, too. I was in a grey and black swirl shirt and black pants. Short, fat, brown curly hair. I was in the hall most of the time.

I believe I have Dewey talked into Call ducks now! He never saw one in person.

I will be trying to hit more shows now. If at all possible, I will be going to the Maryland Poultry Fancier's in November. Plus the swaps in MD!​
