I'm not in Pa now, but I was born and raised in Warren (near Erie) and now live in NJ, just across the river from Easton, Bethlehem, and Allentown Pa. My daughter dances in Easton everyday, my son goes to college in Bethlehem too. Hello all Keystone state buddies!

Hey guys! How is everyone tonight?

Welcome Ray from PA!

I would mama2my4, but just had 7 Black, Blue and Splash Silkies hatch! Hoping for some good ones! :D

I took some pics of my Langshan youngsters tonight...I think they look great!

White Langshan cockerel:

Clean-legged Splash Langshan Pullet. Really hoping the back will look better once she ages.

My partner is from Warren. You don't hear to many people coming from there

Keith, do you know of any breeders of Indian Fantails in PA? I couldn't find anything when I searched. I'm in love with the darn things...may need to get a few more pairs! :D

I don't really know of breeders who specialize in them, just some people who have a few pairs. We get some through the auction pretty regularly. BUT...there is a guy here in the Berks/Lancaster area who shows AMAZING Indian Fans. I don't know his name, but I've talked with him a few times. He shows them here in Berks and the big annual pigeon show in Lancaster, PA. Next time I see him, I'll try to get his name and contact info.

I guess I'll add myself to this PA list. Oddly, also a Ray in PA. Lancaster county, nw corner. New to chicken ownership, Ive got 14 SLW AT 8 weeks, bit don't plan to keep them all, as well as 6 Americaunas, at least that's what I was told they were. They came from a hatchery in Ohio, so I don't know if they are true. I guess o need to study up on the breed, they were kind of an impulse buy!

Final coop is almost finished, currently in small coop and brooder.

Not really sure where this hobby is going to go, for now part of a long range sort of homesteading plan.

If I figure out how, I'll post some pics, buy we all know what a chicken looks like.
