I know! It just sucks, but I was young a loooong time ago, but never had the cash to buy an animal like that! My 1st dog came from a stand at renningers auction lol... Thank goodness I learned my lessons! I even checked all the fences during Sandy when I had to let them out! Hubby was mad at me, even more when we heard that man died when a tree crashed on his porch as he was letting his dogs go pee : ( poor man was only 62 : ( I am a bit worried as I have collars on my dogs but no tags : ( they always fall off cause they all play and bite each others collars....some are micro chipped though (the youngsters are anyway)5 will get you ten the dog is microcipped. But no collar? Oh really?Training? If they had trained the dog well or at all this wouldn't have happened
The breed has it in them to even be flock guadians.
I mean really
Who leaves a Leonberger in the garage in weather like this? The breed instinctually wants to be with it's family and protect it. That must have really messed with that dog's mind to be separated like that.
Stupid owners. That's a lovely dog tho, very typey. I suppose you could threaten to have the dog's breeder notified, the Leo world is very small and very proper.![]()

Dip snuff and spit,

If you want to have I.D. on them, you can look for the tags that have a slit on the left and right side. The collar (the old fashioned buckle kind) slips through the holes. Nothing dangling. Well... On the collar anyway.I know! It just sucks, but I was young a loooong time ago, but never had the cash to buy an animal like that! My 1st dog came from a stand at renningers auction lol... If you are in Landcaster Amish country, yeah. I think that Horizon chicken coops is located there. They make lovely coops, but a tad expensive , but doable if you have an insurance check. See them on the Internet at:What do you guys suggest I do for a chicken coop?? I don't have the heart to rebuild. I wish I could show you pictures-but it's difficult because apple doesn't let me upload to the site. Are there any good places to get one from around here?
Thank You all so much for wanting to help us!! You all are so sweet!! I think we are cooking in today but if you want to come visit us you are more than welcome to!!![]()
Look at Myerstown Sheds...I know it sounds cooky but they have a ton of chicken coups ready made for sale. Or even find a small cheap shed and convert it.LOL!! It's okay! I appreciate you guys trying to figure out where I am because I have NO CLUE! LOL!! When I check in on Facebook it says Lewis Rd??
We got notice that we are suppose to get power by 11 pm TOMORROW. However, they said we were suppose together power back by 6 pm yesterday-so I've come to the conclusion that they just tell us a day to shut us up. :-/
So we are here for another 2 days. Hubby's work is in bridgewater,NJ and his office has been closed all week-he's an executive with a major apparel company shoes at least able to do some work from the hotel. This is the first time their company has ever been closed this long. It's a bad time also, because his company just made a huge acquisition of a different company and not being able to run the company right really is difficult.

That dang dog tore things up! I REALLY didn't wanna kill it. She wouldn't come out of the pens. When she lunged I had no choice.Pentamom, I am very sorry for your loss. I grew up in Hightstown and spent a lot of time in Seaside and Toms River. I currently have a place in Ocean City and we took some damage, but sort of lucked out. Hang in there - Jersey peeps are tough. 8)
Chad, you are one brave dude to face down that dog - gun or not. Very sorry about the losses. Those roosters were heros! I wish I could help but I haven't even started building my coop yet. I am pretty good for a few laughs if that helps.
Hang in there everybody who has been picked on by Sandy.
