Pensacola, Florida Chicken Show

YES! Make sure their nails and beaks are trimmed, and that you check them over really well for mites. Ain't nothing worse than coming all that way only to be turned away because your bird has mites. And there's nothing worse to a judge than showing up with dirty birds or birds that haven't been groomed properly by doing their beaks and toenails. It's kinda like going to church or an interview in dirty work clothes and barn boots. The reception is just about the same. Put your bird in front of a judge looking it's best, it makes a good impression or should I say a necessary impression if you expect anything from a judge at all.

There will be some baby quail for sale. Great tips everbody, I like kenic white shampoo for dogs, it works really well. See Everyone there, Thanks for coming and participating.

Can't wait! Scrubbed my transporters this morning, they are air drying now. Birds are all staged ready to be loaded up in the morning. We're showing brahma bantams in buff & dark, modern game bantams in black & splash, malaysian seramas (still undecided who to take), a LF black sumatra cock and a bantam black sumatra cock.

I have some sale birds. Reserved two sale cages but would prefer to presale these if possible. Here's what I can bring if they have a buyer. If not, I'm not going to transport all these birds for 7 hours.

*4-coming 5 month old BLRWy bantam cockerels. It's a buy one/get one special. You buy a splash and you get a well marked BLR. Asking $15 for 2, $25 for all 4. These should give you a good start in BANTAM BLR.
*A reverse trio of black bantam cochins. Two cockerels, one pullet that are coming 5 months old. $25 for the three of them.
*A reverse Grey silkie trio. Two nice cocks and one nice pullet who is laying (have their eggs in the bator now developing). It's one of those deals where you have to buy a cock in order to get the pullet. I can't have two cocks and no female. Asking $50 for the 3.
*A very nice & typey black OEGB hen, that would make the perfect youth show bird. $30.00
*A small class B golden birchen serama cock. I will sell a B class female with him if someone pre-purchases him. $40 for him, $125 for a pair. A $50 deposit via Paypal will deliver them to the show. Balance in cash.
*A golden duckwing serama cockerel, out of my good GDW King. He should stay a B. I'll sell a class B hen with him if he's pre-purchased. $40 for him, $125 for a pair. A $50 deposit via Paypal will deliver them to the show. Balance in cash.
*A trio of Key West Gypsy chickens that are BBR. They are coming on 8 months old, are EXCELLENT broodies and are extremely free range savvy. Asking $35 for a trio of these great historical chickens.
*Lady Amherst pheasant hen, 3 yrs old. She's my last one. $75.00, $25 deposit through Paypal will deliver her to the show with balance paid in cash.
*True Silver pheasant cock, 3 yrs old. This bird is simply GORGEOUS! And he's friendly too! $50 with a $15 deposit through Paypal will deliver him to the show with the balance paid in cash.

If anyone is interested, speak now because my chicken wagon is leaving on Friday morning at 11:00 am. If anyone wants to put a deposit on them my paypal email address is [email protected]. First come, first serve. I won't take photos, I'm way too busy for that. Either you trust in my judgment as to quality or you don't. You'll also have to pick these up by the end of the show. I have some place else I have to go right after the show ends and can't wait around for a late buyer.
