Performance dogs

My dog is unable to do sports right now (we’re working on her reactivity) but for training we go to an amazing place where they offer obedience, rally and agility! Because my dog is half irish wolfhound we’d loooove to get her into lure coursing (we do use a flirt pole, but it’s not the same!) There is a huuuuuge dog sport instagram community and for ideas/pictures/stories I’d definitely check stuff out there!

I'm starting junior showmanship with Finn! I'm taking a breed handling class starting next week. I checked and it's ok that he's young and that I'm young, because there's mixed experience levels in the class. I'm going to start teaching him to stack and acclimatising him to a slip lead today, and try to work on focus more.

I'm going to try to take him to the part daily until then because I don't want him to embarrass himself or me by sprinting at other dogs lol
