#1 is my favorite, I think it’s got the best composition out of all of them. #3 is probably my least favorite. The focus looks a bit off, and her face is more in shadow than the other two.

I like number 2. The hen looks curious and alert, and we can see all the lovely 'jewels' on the tree. Beautiful.

 

[Lacy Duckwing]

I like both #1 and #2, but on overall quality and positioning, #1 is the best. I like #2 because the bird is in one of my favorite angles for a chicken to be in, but she needs more head space. (That picture might have done best in portrait, but when you've already have your camera in landscape and that's a quick move by your chicken, switching to portrait might have caused you to miss the shot.)
I absolutely love the sparkles in both pictures! They're both awesome Chistmas-y pictures and I'd love to see at least #1 be entered into this year's calendar contest!

There is something about #2 that I really like- I think it's the posture/position of your hen.. But also I think her face is more in focus in 2 than 1 and 3. That's probably just me. Actually it is just me because I'm the only one who voted for 2

I prefer #1 the best because she has a place to go in front of her and is not as centered as #2 and #3. If panned a little more to the left it would be better yet. I also like seeing all of her at peace and not possibly looking for an escape route. She is also better illuminated in her frontal feathers in #1.

#1 for me too. @Nomadicus explained it well.

 

[ILoveDaffy]

I love all of them, BUT, the pose on number 1 was especially lovely. Her comb looked like it was sparkling too, which reminded me of a crown. Beautiful photos!
