Just my silkies. Mainly Narfary and a little bit on Degan. I love the breed, but I feel bad that they can't see. Not all of my silkies, are of good quality. Meaning their crests are very small. But two of them, are. I watched them struggle for awhile, then gave into cutting their feathers around the eyes. The fist time, they fought me. But after they learned they could see, they now sit perfectly still, so I can cut their feathers. So they agree with letting me do it. Their my chicken poodles for real.

I only cut Castiel's side feathers.

So that is how Narfary gets his cool little poodle cut. Maybe now that they have gotten used to getting a trim, they feel like they are being preened by their mama.

I have witnessed my rooster Pierre getting preened by some of the hens especially when he is sand bathing.

Aww, that's so sweet. That's probably why the tolerate it, that and the being able to see part. I love your rooster and that hen is also gorgeous!

They look so cuddly. That's truly cuteness overload. I wish I could reach out and pet them. I would especially like to pat Narfary's little feather do.
