Your golden sex link is very pretty. I have some hens who I think are red sex links but I'm not sure if they're golden or red sex links. What do you think...

Very pretty birds I would agree with them being red sexlinks. In the sun mine have a gold shimmer especially on their necks. You definitely get where the name golden sex link comes from. Red is my darkest sex link. I have one other. I just lost one a few days ago. She was about 2 1/2 years old and a soft egg broke in her. Red at this age now has issues about once a month with getting egg bound. She doesn't lay very much now. I think I have a picture of "Snowflake". She's mean to the13 week old chicks I have, but she still lays everyday. No health issues. She's also 2 1/2 years old. I read they burn out faster than most other chickens. I never had a issue until this last month. So maybe they are wearing out. Sweet birds though.
