I ordered 3 Arabian Trumpeters expecting black eyes and I got one with pearl eyes (okay, they are more like pink), one with yellow eyes, and WAIT, this one has dark eyes! That’s because they are freaking GREEN

I have every eye color in the pigeon rainbow.
Pearl and Harold are a pink and green eyed couple.

I have one pure white pigeon that lives with my chickens. I originally had 4 but they all got out and this was the only one that came back. He has been here for a few years now so he kinda just hangs out with the chickens (and sometimes tries to mate with them )

Aw, he must be pretty lonely. Pigeons really need other pigeon friends to be happy, though plenty of daily human interaction can also work if the pigeon is bonded to people.

That’s amazing, I don’t know if I’ve ever seen that before! Though I do find it funny that you named the pearl eyed pigeon Harold and the green eyed pigeon Pearl. (Unless I’m getting your pigeons mixed up)

That’s amazing, I don’t know if I’ve ever seen that before! Though I do find it funny that you named the pearl eyed pigeon Harold and the green eyed pigeon Pearl. (Unless I’m getting your pigeons mixed up)

Nah, Harold has green eyes, Pearl has pearl eyes. Or rather pink, to match her red feathers. Originally, Blondie was named Pearl until I realized her eyes were blond as the rest of her.

I rescued another lost racing pigeon. He’s the most muscular pigeon I’ve ever held, you can definitely feel the difference between racing homers and feral pigeons.
