Boffin is two months old and sort of bored without more pigeons around. (The other egg didn’t hatch.) Hopefully Biff and Beauty will make some soon.

Biff still cares about Boffin but his daughter is not as important as him to his wife
I was looking everywhere, too, until I started rescuing, and now I have more than enough
lol
And if there aren’t any rescues, 1 pair is enough to build an army since they breed up to six times a year.

Oh btw Boffin is definitely a hen.
Someone told me you can tell based on pubic width and pliable the pubic bones are. Her pubic bones are a finger-width apart and pliable, Beauty’s too (a little more though)
Biff’s are half a finger’s width apart and unpliable.

Over the past few days, three Egyptian swifts were posted in a rescue group I’m in! Two are at an animal shelter and the other was found and went unclaimed by the owner, I think it ended up at a wildlife rehab center called Wild Bird Fund in New York. It’s crazy how many lost domestic pigeons that place has had to take in! They have some weird breeds too, like an American show flight, Komorner tumbler, and so many tipplers.
