That’s probably a lost domestic pigeon, which is why it was so confused.

Brought Casper inside in an effort to get him more tame. He’s been very calm but still doesn’t want me to touch him.

And then the pigeon grunts at you and waddles off. XD (Which is actually what Casper did after I took those pictures.)

I turned off the lights so he would freak out less, pigeons have bad night vision (like chickens).

Caught a pigeon with a hole in its crop today. I think that’s the 18th I’ve caught?

I’ll take it to a wildlife rehab, I hope they can help it.
What’s interesting is this pigeon wasn’t acting odd at all, I just noticed it because of the patch of dirty feathers.

18th pigeon, this is the first one I’ve caught with an open wound.

Roo what do you think about doves?

I think they’re cute, and ringneck doves can make great pets. I’m not going to get any, though, because pigeons have a tendency to beat them up.
