The first one is a frame from a one second video clip i shot.

It is gratifying as a fancier watching your birds enjoy the wonder of flight. You have come a long way in a short period of time BYC buddy.

It would be so cool if you could video it if it happens again!

Thanks! Its really not nerve wracking , and they put on a good show flying loops around the loft so it would be easy to capture if i had a video cam and knew how to use it! lol

It was early, ~10am, cloudy weather.
Got to tell you - A hawk flies by and they took off after him as a group. They either chased or escorted him away. Another time 5 of my birds were up and a hawk flew by - again they fell in behind him and followed a short distance before breaking off to head back.
eta Red tail of course.

That's a great picture! It looks like you have the same weather as uk! It's normally like that here with a good splash of rain included! It seems like your pigeons like playing 'chicken' with that hawk!

I think someone feed my birds yesterday.

I didn't want to get too close to see what they were eating.

Well... I am currently on vacation in Florida with dd3 and her dh and our granddaughter!
We'll be heading back home next Thursday but I'll pop in when I can..
(I cant go long without my byc fix...the withdrawal is a horrible experience )

You need to get to the feed store and purchase some MORE PREMIUM MIXTURE,,,, otherwise they will just fly right past your car..
