I decided to finally do some trap training with the last 3 ybs. I figured out a way to do it without interfering with the other birds loft flying. With the settling cage back on, I just opened the front of the aviary to let the others out.

Did you ever think of sending a few of your birds to one?

I just became recently aware of this sort of thing. I do not think it is for me I am quite happy with my small enterprise that pays for my bird's feed and gives me coffee money from time to time. Plus it gives me a reason to get up and keep going now that I am retired.

You never know I do have some champion stock in my blood lines. It is an option I may explore at some time.
