Lots more info is needed!

How old are the babies?
What are you feeding them?
Were they raised by parents for any amount of time?

They are roughly three weeks old
And they were taken from parents today
And I’m feeding them some grains and some corn because that’s what their parent eat

Ralphie...post some pics of your SS! Is she cubby? Mine are...from foraging. They also love searching the garage for bugs. They know all the tricks!! Little piggies!

why did you take them from their parents? We're they falling behind?

They need smaller grains that are wet. and a pinch of grit. and do try to put some wet chicken layer pellets in as well. If it were me, if out them back to their parents and let them finish raising them. Handle them daily, and once weaned, feed them out of your hand. They will be friendly that way. are you wanting friendly birds? Or are you wanting to train them?

can you define "some grains"? that doesn't sound like the best diet from what you said. a picture would be great!

Nugget knows he can con you into treats! These pigeons are smarties. I'd put a towel on my lap & let him sit there. Seems they can bond with their humans. Remember how depressed Olive got with that other bird in the house. Once it was gone she returned to normal. I'm loving pigeons.

I’ve been making plans for what I want to do with my growing flock and I’d like some advice. I have a very small loft, 8x4 feet so I can’t exactly have a huge flock, though I’d like to. Kiwi is down on a new set of eggs and I’m planning to keep these squabs and either take all the eggs afterwards or sell the babies I’ve they are around Nuggets age or so. After this clutch grows and is at flying age, I’d like to let them out in the evenings for an hour to fly. For the size of coop I have, how many pigeons can it support?
