On Monday I sold four of my young birds to clear out the loft a bit. They all went to a woman that's pigeon obsessed, so I'm hopeful that they are going to a good home, especially since they were willing to pay the 20 dollars each fee.
Kiwi and Peach have been slacking on their parenting game. It's getting cold here, and the parents have decided that they won't sleep on their new squabs at night. I already had one die and I've been bringing the other in at night so that he doesn't freeze. And when I bring the squab in, all it does is squeak and not let anyone get a wink of sleep!

Truth!

That's the one thing I'm worried about, since it sounds like the family is planning on keeping them outside. Luckily they live near me so they'd be easy to bring back!
