Pigeon Talk

Howdy howdy howdy everybody, thanks for the invite @biophiliac. Any other Modena breeders in the Midwest around here? I've had many breeds of pigeons over the years but I switched over to only Modenas about 6 years ago. I love them! They are truly just for me, I get talked into parting with one lol.
Hello @Gray Farms! It great to see more pigeon people here!

Glad to be here. All the "ole timers" around my area that raised pigeons are gone now. So it'll be great to have people to bounce ideas and question off of.
That would be great. I'm new to pigeons and still have alot to learn. I think collectively there is an absolute wealth of knowledge here!

:clap Thanks for coming over! Now don't be a stranger, and feel free to show off some pics of your Modenas. I'd like to know about their personality, are they aggressive?:)

Thanks. She had to be caged due to an injury and that's not a good life long term for her. She basically sat all day with nothing to do. Finally I resorted to reaching in and chasing her around to encourage her to move the bad wing. It helped enough that she was able to return to the loft and her flock. Now she is doing her 'rehab' on her own. This morning I almost cried to see her on tip toe doing a vigorous morning wing flap! I hope she will improve some more.:)
:love
