Pigeon Talk

I run the vacuum every morning. They don't stain or splat. Just neat pellets basically... House birds aren't for everyone but she is much tidier than a parrot!
I've had plenty of of housebirds over the years. I had a pair of love birds that used to chew the top of the pictures! I had missy, the pigeon with a broken wing whilst that healed and now I currently have two chickens! One sat on eggs  :D

It's been a gorgeous day over here. Been about 15c! Barely any clouds. Pigeons have had a good fly. My neighbour has let his out for the first time. I presume he keeps his in over winter. There was pigeons everywhere! I put the bath out for mine so there nice and clean. I also removed 2 more eggs whilst no-one was looking and did a switcheroo! Still none from boomer and Beau yet.

It's been great. Forecast is good for the next week. Everything is done for the day now so I'm enjoying a cold beer watching the chickens being nice to each other! How's the weather for you at the moment. Is it improving?
Nice! :highfive:
Its cloudy and chilly here.. storms last night and possibly again tonight, the weather man cant seem to make up his mind..:idunno

A tissue works wonders to pick up. I have had indoor birds for years, and it's just part of the territory. It's nothing like what a dog or a cat produces.

I have a house serama rooster at the moment. His poops are so little, and 99% of them are basically dry, so really easy to pick up. The occasional yucky one, just takes a quick squirt of carpet cleaner. My carpet is fairly old and brown colors, and will be replaced before we ever move anyway. Lol
The dogs sometimes help with cleanup too, if they spot a poo before I do.
