They're both adorable! I'm surprised there are so many reptile owners in this thread, lol. All this talk has reminded me to order a new UVB bulb for Caramel since hers is coming up on six months old and it's time for a replacement.

Yes me too! @biophiliac do you have any other pets other than pigeons?

I LOVE Luci She's so pretty. Reminds me of the wild garters that we have around here that I spent my childhood catching.

I use ReptiSun for my UVB. Not a compact or coil of course, since they don't emit the proper amount of UVB for beardies. She has a custom vivarium as well so the bulb is mounted inside - no worries about screens filtering out a lot of the UVB.

Really I ought to get a picture of her setup. Lisa called her spoiled earlier and she is not wrong, lol. She has a custom built 4' by 2' by 18" vivarium, and then I had a custom cabinet made to set it up on.

Garters are definitely my favorite snakes. Mine make the plain old Eastern garters around here look bad but I still love them all lol.

Do you use the regular Reptisun or the T5 HO bulbs? The reason I ask is because the T5 HO's are newer, have better UV output, and supposedly last for a year instead of just six months. I've been using the T5's for a few years and have no complaints with them.

I use the regular, because they don't make a bulb in T5 HO that fits the fixture in my beardie's vivarium, unfortunately The bulbs they make are two inches shorter than what go in my fixture.

I used to have quite alot of quail but I gave my last one away to a friend recently. It's a bit strange really, when I'm in the garden I can still hear them.
I also have a couple of goldfish. Nothing fancy though. We started of with one we won from the fairground some years ago and have had them ever since!

We also have a horse called Nansi. That's the DW and DD's department though!
