I agree, it has a lot to with dynamics. I have had and still have a mix of birds that supposedly dont do well with each other but do fine..

I have a broody duck on eggs in the barn at the moment. Her first go.. I dont know how many she's on tho.

Wow that is a lot of water! When i was a kid our city flooded like that after a hurricane produced crazy rainfall all up into the midwest, fortunately we also lived on a hill. I remember rivers broke their banks and washed away two bridges, and in the aftermath people were finding fish as long as their arms in puddles in their yards.
