Yes. We're on a hill. But the main flooded river is 2 miles from us. The pigeons aren't enjoying it!

I think it might just be her cere? I don't think there's anything to worry about. Cute pics.So 4 days ago I noticed Olive has some redness to the bottom of her right eye which is only apparent at very close range. I am not sure if it is new or if she always had it because the first photo I took of her on the way home from the shop also shows a little redness there but its not high definition. The left eye does not have this. She does not act abnormally or show signs of any irritation and it has not changed since i noticed it. Is this something to be concerned about? As shown by the last photo the redness is not always very apparent. View attachment 1683259 View attachment 1683260 View attachment 1683261
The flesh around the eye is also called cere. I think I agree with you that redness isn't the cere and I think it's worth trying to figure it out. Sorry I don't have a diagnosis, does it seem to bother her? is she scratching it?Well, her ceres are a pale tan/flesh color and this is her actual eye, separate (and sometimes hidden by) her cere. (is cere used to refer to eye lids too? I knew it as the nostrils.)
It is not very apparent except up close in direct light but because it is only in one eye I was concerned.
