I was a little sad bc I think dad is my ash red bar/split for blue cock and 50% of the babies should be ash red I think? Does that sound right @WVduckchick @Pyxis ?

The cock is ash red split for blue( so he looks 'silver') and the moms are blue. My thoughts are- the hens get their color from dad only so half blue, half ash red. The cocks get a blue from mom and either ash red or blue from dad so again half red and half blue. The reds would be split for blue and the blues - homozygous.

So all the blue offspring will be homozygous for blue, in the case of males since it's a sex linked gene, and females will just have the one blue gene. Yes.. its pretty bad in the valley and Chattanooga. They evacuated a couple of trailer parks in town and several fields look like lakes..
We are on a mountain so its not directly affecting us at the moment. Im glad you and yours are safe too!
