I'm sure you can, but nothing's for sure. Did dipsy hatch a day later?

I assume Dipsy hatched second. I had the wrong due date in mind, and by the time I checked, I think they had both already hatched. I honestly can't remember lol

Time for another canary update?

The babies (left to right they are Junebug, Lightning and Thunder)are 18 days or so now. They are very close to fledging. Also attached a photo of my society finches which helped care for them in the first couple days. They now have four eggs of their own which I hope will hatch soon.

Oh my gosh, they are sooo cute!
I don't guess my budgies are going to be parents unless I get more, or get rid of one.

I've been doing some planning and I'd like to build myself a 4x8 or 4x6 loft that I can walk into sometime soon.
My only hesitation is that my losses were very high this season and I'm not sure if I want to invest in a large loft if I'm just going to be feeding the resident Cooper's. I think I'll see how this summer goes before I make any decisions...

You can still make it bigger but with the addition of a flight pen or avairy you can keep them in without them being cramped.

That's unbelievable that they are the same age. Is the little one taking to being tube fed?

I'm not sure! I got a really good one of Boomer coming in to land but my house was in the background. It took me about an hour, a can of sunflower hearts and about 50 pics to get the one I wanted!

Nice! Whoever it is, they are very athletic looking!

This is boomer. If I'd been a couple of feet to the right I'd have got the blue background.
