I gave you the basics but I have not had to perform this procedure. Did you use a tweezers or pressure or ... to actually remove it? Did you do a hot soak first?I learned from you though! I just did what you said! So don't ask me!

I first wrapped little Jake up in a towel, I then had a paper towel with warm water in it. I rubbed, and rubbed, and then dropped a little water on the scab to soften it. I then tried to use tweezers, but there was no where to grip it. So I then used my hands. It ended up being all dried up, which will probably be the same with yours. I didn't do anything after I removed it. If it was bleeding, I would have. Whole thing only took 6-7 minutes. If I did it again, I would have tried to soak the scab more than I did. It was pretty dry.I gave you the basics but I have not had to perform this procedure. Did you use a tweezers or pressure or ... to actually remove it? Did you do a hot soak first?

No expert,,,,, but logically thinking, the eggs would have been layed, but with weak shells,,,,, or even soft ones. BP and BIO seem to think along same linesFor you experts, I hadn’t been supplying any calcium other than a small scoop of chicken layer crumbles every once in a while. I wonder if that’s why 2 girls only laid one egg each?
I’ve got a dish of oyster shell in there now.
I dont think it was because of the limited supply of calcium. They would most likely lay 2eggs with the 2nd ones shell being thin. How many birds are you at now?
Huh, never been called BP before. I kinda like it though CMR!No expert,,,,, but logically thinking, the eggs would have been layed, but with weak shells,,,,, or even soft ones. BP and BIO seem to think along same lines![]()

As far as I checked,,,, BP seems to still be availablebut maybe it would be confusing to others as British Petroleum. (parent company that purchased Amoco) Now here is a trivia question for a Low Mileage individual. What was Amoco called long ago??? Us High Mileage folk all know that answer.
