Yes i beleive this is correct, when it was on the ground it was just plucking feathers out when i scared it.p

So maybe the hawk just latched with its feet on but didn't get to take a bite?
They have some vicious talons.
Is she eating and drinking for you?

Alright so ive taken the bird out and it cant fly. It will try but it doesnt get any ground. So im wondering if its out of place along with maybe a fracture? It can extend its wing just fine though, why? It has been eating and drinking just fine though. Help!

Pigeon went thru trauma and is injured. Those puncture wounds am sure hurt. I think after some recovery time ,,,,,, all will be much better.

Sounds like the same problem Doba has. It's not dislocated and 5 weeks out I think any hairline fracture would have healed. When she escaped her cage recently she was able to fly 100feet or so at a heaght of about 2 ft only. But no further attempts to fly whilst we walked her back home. Twice she tried to fly up to her cage which is about 2 ft high. She missed by inches and broke my heart a little. From day one of her injury Doba has also been eating and drinking and otherwise fine. I think patience is our only option.

Im not sure about video, ill see. I will try to get pics tonight. Thanks for the help. The more i watch her and talk to you guys, im thinking it might just be to painflul for her to fly because she can extend it just fine, so i think it is not broken. How long do you think till i can put her with others?
