Pigeon Talk

I liked the truck with the mobile pigeon loft! It's amazing how they managed to train them to return. I wonder where they returned?
what do you mean where? The truck was there home loft think.

@Qwerty3159 I don't know how or why I just noticed this but your username is the first 6 letters on the keyboard ! Sorry random post I know!
haha. I realized that awhile ago also. Pretty cool username!

Saw a segment on Antiques Road Show UK about a pigeon that was awarded a war medal for breaking through enemy lines and making it back with a message that ended up saving a bunch of lives. The pigeon "Cologne " arrived with a broken breastbone and in bad shape. I find the pigeon war stories so interesting. Apparently a lot of the British airmen took pigeons with them on missions in case they were shot down. They could get word back about their locations. This led to several of them being rescued.

Yes, it's fascinating. and the enemy would always try to shoot the bird, and read the messages. Scary stuff!

What can I say, I'm not very creative with usernames :p
Put the plastic up. Couldn't find any that was less opaque but the nice thing about the white is when the sun hits it it lights the aviary up much better.

That's what I used on one side of mine. It still let's light through but keeps it alot dryer.
