Only my female pigeon came home last night . I’m hoping that Peach (the male) just got caught up somewhere when it got dark so I’m hoping that he comes back today.

Only my female pigeon came home last night . I’m hoping that Peach (the male) just got caught up somewhere when it got dark so I’m hoping that he comes back today.

Sometimes this happens on a first release. Hopefully he will return when he is hungry. Have you got an alternative trap so he can go in without the female escaping?

Knowing Peach, if the female is in the cage, he just kinda hangs around it, so I’ll just catch him. He’s pretty tame, let’s me pet him.

The archangels finally laid some eggs! Sadly one got crushed in the bowl Then the second wasn't sat on so I have removed it and placed it under Ash. She is probably the best and most dedicated pigeon I have! it is fertile. I'll candle it in a couple of days to see what's going on.

I’m pretty sure he will since his mate is in there. I contacted the previous owner to give him a heads up that my pigeon may have returned to his place.
