That's quite an egg for a pigeon! Also, beautiful bird!
I love my blue jays. They help a while lot. They are the 'first responders' for a hawk, and then next comes the crowd which hear all the commotion. I also will blow my crow call a bit before flying to deter hawks and attract crows.View attachment 2135774

Are the new eggs pigeon, or bantie???I never did figure out how my pigeon got a chicken egg into her nest. Since I took that chick, she is now on 2 more eggs. I also found 3 more pairs of eggs, and one nest has 3 eggs! 2 hens and a cock.
