Pigeon Talk

Ok. Yeah im sure you have heard this but never free fly a bird you dont want to lose. (flying inside is different though)

Yep. Do your parlor rollers fly?

Hello, this is the new member you guys mentioned. The byc rules say that i am able to join. I was not aware of that specific rule about age so that is why that certain post got deleted. Anyways, im enjoying byc! Thanks
Hello again! I'll try this again!

Oh sorry, Im still figuring out this site. You arent going mad!
That's good to know! My memory can be a little questionable sometimes but I'm sure that I'd replied! It sounds like you've got some great birds there. Do you race any or just loft fly and releases?

@backyard pigeons, welcome to BYC and to this thread. Excellent advice: "Don't fly any birds that you can not afford to lose."

Not if they are older. But can if are 4-6 months of age but make sure they are true parlors. If they are they are, they will roll on the ground

Both of mine roll very well. :clap

Not currently, i only have three as of now. They are all unsexed so Im not risking flying any at this moment untill i get a pair for my breeder coop. And i dont race now although my birds come from some racing blood (can home 600+ miles) I would like to eventually, although its expensive to start up. How far can yours home?
Welcome @backyard pigeons ! :frow
I have 18 racing homers. I don't race but I love to watch them fly everyday. Do you race?:)
