Hi DD!

I have a pigeon sitting on 2 eggs. Both fertile and growing!


@backyard pigeons also has one due around the same time!

My first birds ever were 8 chicks I purchased at a local hatchery on hatch day in 2016. I became fascinated with them and was very sad when I had to rehome them (to join a pet flock on a local farm). I kept them in a coop that was going unused in my neighbor's yard until she decided that chickens no longer fit her plans for the garden.

Just a bit of a random post this but I was at my local hardware store last week and a van pulled in next to me. My son said 'dad look at the bottom of the picture'. I laughed and had to take a picture!

Beautiful development in both eggs!
She seemed a little nervous, Clyde backed away a little, but she let me pull each egg out and check them quickly, then I tucked them right back under her.

Yup! And its a portuguese tumbler, it will be my third one.

Yes, the old one and the new one! Lol. Or breeders and flyers. Thats what i call mine. Let us know if you do any name.
