Oh dang, I hope it turns up one place or the other!
Oh that is fantastic! My pigeon actually showed up at home today. My wife sent me a text that when they got home from school they could see the pigeon walking around. It had been gone since saturday afternoon. They actually thought another one got out because they assumed the other was gone. After some coaxing with some food it jumped back in the loft. Everyone is home safe and sound. Won't be doing that again.

Your pigeon returning is a GOOD THING,,,,,, I would not hesitate releasing that one. She learned where home is. Next time release her separately from mate. (keep mate in loft and see how soon she returns. My pigeon actually showed up at home today. My wife sent me a text that when they got home from school they could see the pigeon walking around. Yay!That is a good sign that your birds are liking their home and the care you are giving them, ... probably they especially like Elizabeth!
Most of us have had a bird go missing 2-3 days and return, but they were homeset to the loft, not new birds like yours. Give yourself a pat on the back.![]()
Those are the clearest illustration of the 'correct' way to hold a pigeon that I have seen! In the 2nd one with the pigeon's chest barely touching the owner seems to relax the birds. In the first pic, you can take your other hand and cup the chest whilst holding the beak between your fingers to pose the head and show off eyes and face.

Well, no call or email back from. NPA.
I can’t find a basket to put him in so maybe tomorrow I will get a picture of him standing.
That's great news! I agree with cavemanrich I'd feel happy to release them again. I found that if I released one, it wouldn't hang around. Since I can release all mine they tend to stay and fly loops of the neighbourhood. Your making good progress! Have you done any more vids?My pigeon actually showed up at home today.
