Yes! They had an extra sunflower seed each! I don't really handle mine unless I must. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not but they are happier being left alone!I hope you paid them with some treats for that!![]()

Exciting!I've got a line on some hens from an experienced breeder recommended to me by the guy who told me my birds were cocks. Only downside is the breeder is in CA and this is going to cost me a fortune in shipping, probably. Also I really don't like getting birds from CA right now what with the Newcastle outbreak, but I guess as long as he's outside the quarantine area it should be safe.
Edit: I just checked, he's up by Sacramento, and all the cases have been in the south of the state, so probably fine.
Well, I hadn't sent a message to the seller yet...and she just messaged me. She is apparently a member in the group I posted my ISO add for frillback hens in and saw it.
She asked if the first ones she sent me were all males since they were 'young' when she sent them (one, Twisty, was older and looked like a male to me as soon as I got him, if you guys remember) and also she said that the silver is a female. No, no he's not, lol. That bird is the most dominant bird I own.
